Bio
The treants used to be one of the most powerful and mysterious enchanted creatures of the forest now known as the “Sylvan Woodlands” and inured to compromise for the sake of achieving coexistence with later arrivals, particularly the Beastmen. Yet the tumultuous advent of the elves and the resulting destruction of many natural forest habitats proved more than the typically peaceful treants could bear.
Treants and Beastman alike had to contend with a new, much more significant foe that could outperform primitive magics with great sorceries and boasted a legion of well-trained troops determined to carve out a new homeland in the Woodlands to replace the one since destroyed. A younger generation of treants was forced to protect their territory – Orchi foremost among them, who rallied their somnolent warriors into a powerful fighting force.
Fortunately for all concerned, the elven leader Virgil had the wisdom and foresight to accept the claims of the treants and elvish hand in disrupting the delicate peace that had hitherto reigned. Virgil and Orchi thereafter signed a peace treaty, and its satisfactory quality helped to promote Orchi, with his considerable negotiating and leadership skills, into the treants effective leader.
