Bio
A popular lecturer at Talin’s Academy, Viola’s natural charm, good looks, and skills in everything other than magic had always made her well-liked on Talin’s “magical circuit” both by colleagues and students outside the Academy’s four walls.
Yet Viola had always considered herself called to greater endeavors than a mere lectureship. An opening in the Dean’s position found Viola eagerly asserting herself as the esteemed institution’s natural successor. Yet all of Viola’s efforts, both underhanded and otherwise, failed versus her less popular but much more talented competitor and fellow lecturer Hazel, initiating a period of considerable soul-searching in Viola’s disappointed heart. It was difficult for Viola to accept Hazel’s victory as anything other than a rejection by her beloved Academy, and it was precisely in this state of despondency and ambition that Valeria of Soulplunder found another willing supplicant. The olive branch of friendship came soon after.
Viola has chosen to focus her arts on the element of surprise, enemy weakpoints, and psychology in the process by which she has become another one of Soulplunder’s most useful instruments. One would be well-advised to avoid her charms and honeyed words at all costs.
