Biography Variant 1 (ZBT).

Nathalia and her sister, Tia, both grew up living a life of luxury within the Empire. Their father, Kagas, was a skilled and envied magician – known throughout all of the land. Nathalia wished to follow in her father’s footsteps in studying magic. Initially, she showed very little skill in this regard. It wasn’t until she and her sister were having a fight that she decided to finally tap into her abilities and showcase the talents deep within. With a rush of magic, blue and purple glowing light started to appear around her; rising up and overtaking her entire body. Sparks started to fly from the ends of her fingertips as she let out a yell and thrust a quick burst of power towards Tia, knocking her to the ground. It was in this moment that two things were very clear; that Nathalia holds immense magical power, and that Tia must fear her younger sister. 

Following this, Kagas knew that he must find the best magical school within all of the Empire for Nathalia to enroll. He was excited at the thought of his child having so much magical power. It is with this, that the Imperial Academy of Magic acquired one of their most powerful students. Here at the Academy of Magic, Nathlia was able to polish and refine her magical abilities. Though she studied a wide array of skills – from healing, levitation, and even attack skills – she found a great interest in Arcane abilities. With this, she has increased her skillset to rival her father’s abilities, and knows that inside she holds great talents. Always equipped with her book, she will never turn away from studying or shy away from showcasing her talents.

Biography Variant 2.

No one suspected the gifted apprentice mage Nathalia from the isolationist city-state of Talin was in fact the younger sister of Talin’s current ruler, Queen Tia. Tia’s succession to the throne at the death of her grandmother plunged its politics into a period of dangerous strife which, for her sister’s protection, forced Tia into drastic steps: she ultimately decided to send Nathalia under the cover of darkness away to the Imperial Academy in the Hirschbuck Empire where she would presumably remain safe from conniving usurpers.

Nathalia took her sister’s parting words to heart: hide your identity to save your life and safeguard it by becoming a powerful mage! Nathalia indeed exhibited talent beyond many peers, culminating in an Academy awards ceremony where Nathalia was gifted an extremely valuable magical book by its president. Nathalia and the magical tome have since then become nigh-on inseparable. Far more than a protective talisman, the book is a gateway to more powerful magics Nathalia may need to access at short notice should the need arise.

Nathalia returned some years later, a proud graduate of the finest magical Academy in Aurelica to a far more stable kingdom than the one she had left behind, one to which she could return safely with her sister’s authority firmly cemented by Talin’s newfound prosperity. Frequently has Nathalia sought to ease her sister’s many anxieties by deploying her considerable skills in her service, today primarily in the form of Talin’s chief diplomat. The Free Cities in particular have become a particular point of affection for the oft-travelling Nathalia, who would love nothing more than for her inward-focused kingdom to emulate the confident, flourishing prosperity of their aptly-named southern neighbors.
