Bio
Harbeg is regarded by most dwarves as an oddball tinker whose activities range somewhere between needlessly dangerous and crazy. This does not include his good friend, Elder Lordrec of the Coldsteel Clan, who holds the maverick dwarven inventor in high esteem. Harbeg has seen fit to overturn tradition, the mores of dwarven society and established techniques to craft the most magnificent devices his mind can conceive within within his rather isolating dwarven workshop.
Arguably the most gifted master craftsman of the Molten Clan, Harbeg’s interests extend far beyond forging, that is, he is also a consummate professional of the glyphs and runes championed by the Stonefists and an expert in all manner of gunpowder-based technologies, years of investigation into which have permanently electrified his hair like some sort of fiery cloud. An utter workaholic, Harbeg is not one to be unduly influenced by the condescending skepticism of fellow dwarves, but has nevertheless found greener pastures amid the relatively more open society of the Free Cities. It is here, unrestricted by dwarven law or lore, that Harbeg has been able to achieve great strides in the development of fire-based weaponry, a feat not likely to have been possible without many new local friends that Harbeg has come to appreciate.
