Bio
Tia grew up in the Empire, straying drastically from her family and their legacy. Her father, Kagas, was a wildly renowned magically. From a young age, her father had insisted that she study magic – hoping that she would follow the path he had forged for her. Much to her father’s anguish, it became immediately clear that she did not possess magical abilities. This all came to a boiling point when one day she and her sister were fighting and her sister began to glow, radiating blue and purple all around her. With a large burst of energy, Nathalia shoved Tia violently to the ground – resulting in their father rushing into the room. At this discovery, Kagas did not scold Nathalia – instead, he was overwhelmed with pride at how strong his daughter had become – being proud in seeing that she holds magical powers just as he does.
Feeling betrayed by her sister, and rejected by her father, Tia ran away that night. She escaped the Empire and made her way to the Kingdom of the Mountains. Here, she stumbled into a group of dwarves who were both impressed yet confused with her arrival. They were shocked at her height. Though she was only 13 years old at the time, she still stood tall above even the elders of the dwarven clans. Their confusion stemmed from the mere thought of a human safely entering the Kingdom of the Moutains. Very few humans had made it to this region, and even fewer had lived to escape it. The ruler of the Kingdom, Brand, was displeased with her arrival and had sentenced her to death when Lordrec, a member of the Cold Iron Clan, spoke up with an offer. He offered to take in Tia as his own, and train her – under the condition that she vow to never leave the Kingdom and to join in protecting it for the rest of her life. Feeling desperate, Tia had no choice but to accept this – with Brand generously deciding to allow it.
Following this agreement, Lordrec and Tia immediately began years of battle training. Lordrec worked hard to teach Tia not only the ways of fighting defensively, but also how to forge her own swords – a talent she has since taken up greatly. She takes great pride in forging strong weapons, and brings in the essence of the mountains in all that she does – loving to add chilling effects to every battle she encounters.
