Bio
The spectral lizardmen are certainly one of the most enigmatic casts of the lizardmen dwellers in the dark, deep corners of Dragonscale Marsh, who themselves remain a significant enigma to the other races with whom they share their little interaction. There is no doubt spectral lizardmen would be considered one of the rarest sights for any adventurer to venture deep within Dragonscale Marsh, and the group make up the natural scouts, pathfinders, and assassins of their species owing to their extraordinary nimbleness, magical sensitivity, and uncanny short-term instincts about the future.
Zatlux has distinguished himself above and beyond his spectral brethren as a true master assassin and practitioner of the “Spiral Blade” technique that unites swordplay with magic in a deadly combination as to extinguish the life from most targets with but a single strike. This helps to explain why he is virtually unknown outside of his own people despite having hundreds of kills to his name. Zatlux’s skills include the use of shadow magic, the ability to wield a third blade with his tail (surprisingly uncommon among lizardmen), deflections with three separate whirling blades, as well as various jumps and flips that can be relied upon to psychologically break stronger enemies to survive the initial onslaught.
