Biography Variant 1 (ZBT).

Melizza is a centaur, one of the proudest and bravest species native to Sylvan. Her clan currently resides in Bloodbeast Jungle, after having been driven out from East Sylvan 700 years ago by unfriendly elves, who also forced numerous other species out of East Sylvan, now renamed the “Astral Forest”.

Helmar and Valeria’s arrival to the Bloodbeast Jungle has added considerable conflict and misery to most of its original inhabitants, and the incessant wars with elves have deprived the centaurs of many of their finest warriors, including Melizza’s father, the former Warchief of the centaur clan. Melizza has the option of rebelling against Helmar’s iron rule over the jungle, but still maintains a sense of loyalty to the other species and enmity towards the elves who originally drove the centaurs from their ancestral homes. Hence, Melizza remains willing to fight on Helmar’s orders for the moment.

Biograghy Variant 2.

Bloodbeast Jungle became one of the centerpieces of the Dark One’s renewed assault against Aurelica, and unfortunately the territory of the centaurs, outermost of the forest, became the brunt of his first assault. The horn of battle sounded, as a pale moon cast a pale light over the lush Jungle. The time had come for Melizza and her warriors to defend their home, and defend it they would with every ounce of strength. The assembly of centaurs spied out the Chaos Beastmen launch their first major foray across the river into the Jungle at the urging after their cultist overlords. What was this sea of blue?

Melizza faltered. The Bonebreakers had returned, thought defeated only few decades ago! Messengers had been dispatched already to warn the other clans, but any help would arrive too late for Melizza and her brethren. The centaurs would be the first and at this point the only line of defence for a major incursion into the Jungle. Melizza drew a deep breath and prayed for mercy to the Goddess of Nature and the Moon Goddess. She surveyed her warriors, lifted her front hooves, and brandished her long spear with a ferocious yell: “Follow me!”

The centaurs charged fearlessly into the dense ranks of Chaos Beastmen, striking them down with a mixture of spear and iron hoof just as their ancestors had done before them. The Moon Goddess had also answered Melizza’s prayers. A sliver of special light seem to shine down from the moon, bathing Melizza in a warm glow that transformed her into something more akin to a silver Avatar of War than the leader and Chief Elder of the centaurs as she plunged herself into the thick horde of blue and won a decisive victory for her people.
